Writing in Room 10

This week we have been learning to write a descriptive piece. 
We used one of Jill Eggleton's books 'The Little Yellow Car".
First we looked at Ziggy. Her outside: What does she look like?
and then we looked at her inside: How does she feel?
Here are a few examples of our work on day 1:

Today we had the opportunity to link all our ideas and complete our writing. 

My character is Ziggy. She looks like a grandma and has plump pink, rosy lips. She also wears pink earrings. Ziggy went to Carlo's shop and bought a shiny yellow little car. When she drove her shiny yellow car she noticed that it made funny noises. It went ' wibble...wobble...' all by itself.
