Long Bay Beach 2017
Room 10 had an amazing time at Long Bay Beach on Thursday. The excitement was running high, from the start of the day.
It was a fantastic learning experience for the students.
A huge THANK YOU to our parents that offered to help on the day. It would not have been possible without your support!

Cultural Festival - 2017
Thank you to all the students and parents that came to support the dancers at Rocket Park. A BIG 👍 to all the students from
Room 10 that performed on the day. You were AWESOME!
Here are a few stories from Room 10 about the Cultural Festival last weekend.
Yesterday I went to Rocket Park to see our school perform and other schools too. They were on the inside and the outside stage. I saw Mrs van Zyl and Miss Whysall too. I also saw Lila performing her Hawaiian dance. She was very, very extremely good.

On Saturday we went to Rocket Park. I was wearing yellow flowers on my head and we even had lipstick on our lips. We also wore a white singlet and a long necklaces. All the girls wore blue flower skirts. Every one in the group was wearing an arm band made out of real green leaves. Our helper for the day was called Lilly.

During the weekend, I went to Rocket Park. Do you know why I went to Rocket Park? For the Cultural Festival! I was in the Scottish group. I was in the Scottish group because my dad is from Great Britain. The three different dances we performed in the Scottish group are the called the "Welcome dance'," a Reel for Jeannie" and most importantly... last but not least, 'The Loch Ness Monster'. Have you listened to any of those song before?
Do you know that I saw Mrs van Zyl there. I could have had a heart attack! In our Scottish group we had to do a promenade hold. Do you know what that is? The whole time we had to skip, except when we came on and off the stage. We performed on the inside stage.
